Prepare the Machine

  1. Home XYZ.
  2. Lower the Z-axis by 300 mm.
  3. Wait until the build chamber, build platform, and hot ends are at room temperature.
  4. Open the build chamber door.
  5. Push the E-stop button.
  6. Turn the power OFF with the ON/OFF switch found on the front panel of the machine.
  7. Turn the main disconnect switch in the OFF (O) position.

Remove and Install Panels

Wait until all machine components are at room temperature before you continue. Some machine components can be hot if the machine was recently used. Failure to do so can cause injuries.

Upper Right Side Panel

Remove

  1. Use the 3 mm hex key to remove the three screws (2) of the upper right side panel (1).
  2. Lift and pull the the panel (1) to remove it.

Install

  1. Install the upper right side panel (1) on the machine.
  2. Use the 3 mm hex key to tighten the three screws (2). Make sure that the three screws (2) are tight.

Remove

  1. Use the 3 mm hex key to remove the three screws (2) of the lower right side panel (1).
  2. Lift and pull the the panel (1) to remove it.

Install

  1. Install the lower right side panel (1) on the machine.
  2. Use the 3 mm hex key to tighten the three screws (2). Make sure that the three screws (2) are tight.

Remove

  1. Use the 3 mm hex key to remove the three screws (2) of the upper left side panel (1).
  2. Lift and pull the the panel (1) to remove it.

Install

  1. Install the upper left side panel (1) on the machine.
  2. Use the 3 mm hex key to tighten the three screws (2). Make sure that the three screws (2) are tight.

Remove

  1. Use the 3 mm hex key to remove the three screws (2) of the lower left side panel (1).
  2. Lift and pull the the panel (1) to remove it.

Install

  1. Install the lower left side panel (1) on the machine.
  2. Use the 3 mm hex key to tighten the three screws (2). Make sure that the three screws (2) are tight.

Center Rear Panel

Remove

  1. Use the 3 mm hex key to remove the six screws (2) of the center rear panel (1).
  2. Lift and pull the the panel (1) to remove it.

Install

  1. Install the center rear panel (1) on the machine.
  2. Use the 3 mm hex key to tighten the six screws (2). Make sure that the six screws (2) are tight.

  1. Use the 3 mm hex key to remove the six screws (2) of the lower rear panel (1).
  2. Lift and pull the the panel (1) to remove it.

Install

  1. Install the lower rear panel (1) on the machine.
  2. Use the 3 mm hex key to tighten the six screws (2). Make sure that the six screws (2) are tight.

Test and Return to Service

  1. Make sure that you remove all the tools from the machine enclosure.
  2. Close the build chamber door.
  3. Turn the main disconnect switch in the ON (1) position.
  4. Turn the power ON with the ON/OFF switch found on the rear panel of the machine.
  5. Release the E-stop button.
  6. Home XYZ.
