Prepare the Machine

  1. On the graphical user interface (GUI), navigate to the Settings tab and press PURGE-OUT to open the purge and inspection drawer.
  2. Lower the Z-axis by 300 mm.
  3. Wait until the build chamber, build platform, and hot ends are at room temperature.
  4. Open the build chamber door.
  5. Push the E-stop button.
  6. Turn the power OFF with the ON/OFF switch found on the front panel of the machine.
  7. Turn the main disconnect switch in the OFF (O) position.

Clean Camera Windows

Wait until all machine components are at room temperature before you continue. Some machine components can be hot if the machine was recently used. Failure to do so can cause injuries.

Clean Chamber Camera Window

  1. Locate the camera window on the left side of the machine chamber.
  2. Use the isopropyl alcohol and lint-free rag(s) to clean the camera window.
  3. Let the the camera window dry for two minutes.
  4. Make sure that the the camera window is clean.

Clean Toolhead Microscope

Purge and Inspection Drawer

  1. Locate the purge and inspection drawer inside the machine chamber.
  2. Use the isopropyl alcohol and lint-free rag(s) to clean the toolhead microscope.
  3. Let the the toolhead microscope dry for two minutes.
  4. Make sure that the toolhead microscope is clean.

Test and Return to Service

  1. Make sure that you remove all the tools from the machine enclosure.
  2. Close the build chamber door.
  3. Turn the main disconnect switch in the ON (1) position.
  4. Turn the power ON with the ON/OFF switch found on the rear panel of the machine.
  5. Release the E-stop button.
  6. Home XYZ.
  7. On the graphical user interface (GUI), navigate to the Settings tab and press PURGE-IN to close the purge and inspection drawer.
