Warning

Failure to read the updated documentation for firmware versions 18.08 and greater will result in damage to your machine. Please read the new documentation for bed leveling before using your machine. Any damage caused as a result of tool collisions due to using outdated processes will not be covered by AON3D.

Firmware Updates

Depending on what version of software your printer is running, firmware updates will be applied automatically. To check the current version of firmware your printer is running, navigate to the Terminal page of the user interface and enter the command M115. This will output information regarding the current firmware build running on your machine.

If your machine is running a version of firmware greater than 18.08, firmware will be updated automatically in conjunction with regular control interface updates. When querying the version with M115, it will respond with output similar to the following:

< M115
> MACHINE: AON-M2
> VERSION: 18.08
> PROTOCOL: 18.08
> COMPILE_DATE: Aug 3 2018
> COMPILE_TIME: 14:14:05
> ok

If your machine responds to the M115 version query with the following, you will need to contact help@aon3d.com to schedule an appointment for the manual firmware upgrade that will take between 10 and 30 minutes and require your machine to be connected to a wireless network. Once this has been completed, all future upgrades will be automatic.
