Wiper Assembly Replacement

Required Tools & Equipment

  • Nozzle Cleaning Wiper Blade
  • Low-Scratch Nozzle Cleaning Brush
  • 2.5mm hex wrench

The wiper brush bracket may be either plastic or metal.

Undo the M3 bolts holding the blade and brush components in place, taking note of the vertical alignment of both. Remove, replace, and re-align both the blade and the brush. The correct height of the blade and brush are shown in the following figures.

The top of the brush should rub against the flat surface of the nozzle.

The tip of the blade should just touch the tip of the nozzle.

If you have a plastic bracket, do not over-tighten the screws holding the brush component in place to avoid damaging the threaded insert.
