This procedure provides instructions on how to replace the:
The wiper brush bracket may be either plastic or metal.
The the new wiper brush clamp does not have a silicone grommet. This allows the wiper brush to be installed more securely.
Remove one screw, one washer, the clamp, and the brush using the 3mm hex wrench. Discard the brush and the clamp.
Install the new clamp and the new brush using one screw and one washer.
If you have a plastic bracket, do not over-tighten the screws holding the brush component in place to avoid damaging the threaded insert.
Adjust the brush so that it rubs against the flat surface of the nozzle as shown in the figure below. Tighten one screw to secure the brush using the 3mm hex wrench.
The wiper brush bracket may be either plastic or metal.
Remove two screws and the wiper blade using the 2.5mm hex wrench. Discard the wiper blade.
Install the new wiper blade using two screws.
If you have a plastic bracket, do not over-tighten the screws holding the brush component in place to avoid damaging the threaded insert.
Adjust the wiper blade so that it just touches the tip of the nozzle. Tighten the two screws to secure the wiper blade using the 2.5mm hex wrench.
