To help with machine reliability, AON3D recommends that the two PT100 RTD sensors be replaced as a pair.

Prepare the Machine
- Remove the heater block assembly. Refer to Replace Heater Block Assemblies.
Replace the RTD Sensor
- Use the soft bristle brush to remove any contaminants that are buildup on the PT100 RTD, if necessary.
- Use a clean lint-free rag and isopropyl alcohol to clean any solvents and/or residue from the RTD sensor head.
- Use the 7 mm wrench to remove the PT100 RTD sensor.
- Discard PT100 RTD sensor.
- Clean the surface of the heater block assembly to remove any unwanted material.
- Install the new PT100 RTD sensor into the heater block assembly.
- Use the 7 mm wrench to lightly tighten the PT100 RTD sensor into heater block assembly. Do not tighten too much.
Test and Return to Service
- Install the heater block assembly. Refer to Replace Heater Block Assemblies.
