Safety Information

The following basic safety tips are given to ensure safe installation, operation, and maintenance of AON3D equipment and are not to be considered as comprehensive on matters of safety. The AON-M2 is designed to be a safe and reliable, but access to some areas of the machine are potentially dangerous.

Hazard Types

Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, may result in injury or death.

Indicates a situation which, if not avoided, could result in damage to equipment.

Indicates additional information relative to the current topic.

Indicates helpful advice and suggestions relative to the current topic.

Safety Symbols

Symbol Function Intended Behavior Location
Warning; Hot Surface To warn of a hot surface. Taking care to avoid coming into contact with a hot surface. On the door and on the back of the machine under the louvers.
Warning; Electricity To warn of electricity. Taking care to avoid coming into contact with electricity. On the E-Panel, under the main power switch and power cable.
General Warning Sign To signify a general warning. Taking care regarding the hazard specified by the supplementary sign. Under the nameplate.
Refer to instruction manual/booklet To signify that the instruction manual/booklet must be read. Reading the instruction manual/booklet before starting work or before operating equipment or machinery. Under the nameplate.

Safety Precautions

All persons must wear the safety equipment that follows when operating and/or maintaining the AON3D machine.

Ventilation

AON3D machines are open-materials platforms. As such, AON3D cannot make any general claims in regards to environmental safety, as customers are free to use the material(s) of their choice. AON3D strongly urges to consult with material manufacturers, and/or perform their own safety tests, to determine appropriate ventilation and required safety gear when operating the AON3D machines with their chosen material(s).
