Wait until all machine components are at room temperature before you continue. Some machine components can be hot if the machine was recently used. Failure to do so can cause injuries.

Polymer material is purged from the nozzle(s) after each automatic tool change when dual extrusion prints are in progress. The toolhead(s) cleans the nozzle(s) on the wiper brush(es) and the wiper blade(s) and the polymer material falls onto the build platform and at the bottom of the build chamber.
• To inspect the wiper brush and/or wiper blade, refer to Inspect Wiper Brushes and Wiper Blades.
• To replace the wiper brush and/or wiper blade, refer to Replace Wiper Brushes and Wiper Blades.

  1. Use the broom to remove the unwanted material from the build platform.
  2. Use the isopropyl alcohol and lint-free rag(s) to clean the build platform.
  3. Let the build platform dry for two minutes.
  4. Use the vacuum to remove the unwanted material from the bottom of the build chamber. If a vacuum is not available, use the broom and pan.
